Charlotte recently shared the song on Instagram TV (IGTV), where it was spotted by Clive Swersky (Host and Producer of Alive with Clive — The TV Show Where Today’s Top Singer-Songwriters Thrive!), who interviewed Charlotte Morris on Alive with Clive in February of 2019.

“When I saw Charlotte perform “We Will Rise” on IGTV, I experienced a renewed surge of hope and inspiration that we will somehow manage to conquer the coronavirus soon,” says Mr. Swersky, “and so I felt compelled to publish a Blog post (available at the link above) to share the song with as many people as possible at this challenging time for all who inhabit the planet.”

Originally from outside of Philadelphia and now based in New York City, Charlotte Morris derives inspiration from such renowned singer-songwriters as Delta Rae, Brandi Carlile and Christina Perri, as well as folk legends Peter, Paul and Mary and Simon & Garfunkel.

When not releasing new songs or singing her own original songs as a singer-songwriter at venues for live music in the northeast and in other cities around the United States, Ms. Morris performs in theatrical productions as a member of different ensembles, and has appeared in such shows as Once, I Dig Rock and Roll Music, and (The Making Of) How to Save the World in 90 Minutes.

Since 2007, Alive with Clive has been featuring today’s top singer-songwriters and bands in half-hour TV shows in which singer-songwriters and bands discuss and perform three or four songs.
