Clear Channel Radio today announced that FOX Broadcasting Company will be the exclusive sponsor of Clear Channel’s iheartradio application on the iPhone and BlackBerry on Monday, May 18th and Tuesday May 19th to promote the preview event for the new comedy series, ‘Glee,’ which will air after the American Idol finale on FOX on Tuesday, May 19th at 9 pm EST.

The full season of ‘Glee’ will begin airing on FOX this fall as part of its new fall lineup. GLEE is a distinctive new comedy musical series from Ryan Murphy (“Nip/Tuck”) that combines biting humor with a soundtrack of hit music from past to present and follows an optimistic high school teacher who – against all odds – attempts to restore McKinley High’s fading Glee Club to its former glory.

As part of the sponsorship, a gateway ad will appear while the iheartradio application loads and on every third interaction, such as a station switch.
