(NASDAQ:CAMP), a leading provider of wireless products, services and solutions, announced today that its CiPHR™ cellular modem has been certified by Bell Mobility, a leading wireless carrier in Canada. In addition, CalAmp also recently commenced commercial shipments of CiPHR modems to a governmental agency in the Province of Quebec.

CalAmp’s new Dataradio CiPHR is a rugged cellular modem that provides reliable service even in the most challenging operating environments. The CiPHR modem is designed for 3G networks such as CDMA 1xEV-DO Revision A or GSM High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) networks. Its backward compatibility with corresponding 2G wireless technologies enables it to automatically connect to the best network and highest data speed available and is thus ideally suited for a broad set of mobile, portable or fixed wireless applications.
