CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ:CAMP), a leading provider of wireless products, services and solutions, today announced the appointment of Mike Zachan as Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Aercept business unit. Mr. Zachan reports to Michael Burdiek, CalAmp’s Chief Operating Officer, and will be responsible for Aercept’s day-to-day operations and financial performance.

Prior to joining CalAmp, Mr. Zachan was President of BridgeWorks Group, a management consulting firm that counsels emerging technology companies. Prior to BridgeWorks, he held general management positions with DPAC Technologies in its wireless machine-to-machine business unit, and at Conexant Systems, where he was responsible for leading the company’s module systems group. He holds a BSEE degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from California State University, Fullerton.
