Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria, two of the biggest stars in the Philippines, are teaming up for a major Filipino studio film coming to theatres this December 25th in the Philippines and December 30th worldwide.
The movie, titled Labyu With An Accent, is being produced by an award-winning screenwriter Mark Labella who has a number of feature films optioned and one set to begin filming this May. Mark Labella also has a recurring role on this season's S.W.A.T., and is also featured in a forthcoming Gerard Butler film, "Plane".
Mark Labella is no stranger to success; they recently secured top 25 honours at the PAGE International Awards for their original comedy screenplay Soul & Spice.
