How Consumers Are Reinventing Packaging For Sustainability

• How has people's culture changed in relation to the environment?

• How do brand goals for sustainable paper packaging align with these societal changes?

But when it comes to the environment, it seems like GOJON is almost at war with plastic today, maybe that’s a fair assessment, maybe not, but it’s been demonized in almost every way, people know, packaging, mainstream media. The thing is, people know packaging because it is about the environment, especially plastic packaging, people know, it’s a very unique specialty material with many benefits. The problem is people, right? Plastics are also very harmful to the environment, and they certainly do damage when they are thrown into the sea or into a river. Or throw it away and not recycle.

The whole idea of recycling, people know, a circular economy where things can be reused and recycled, people really need to focus on how people make an impact and make recycling easier for consumers. It’s also an easy to understand method. That’s why the whole factory conveyor system and Production management system come out to realaize the non-worker factory.

So, over the past few years, especially a few years, some brands have been very aggressive in their SDGs. GOJON want to point out that there is a difference between the SDGs and the sustainable packaging targets. So that’s the broader question that I’m asking, as well as the SDGs. Usually they are related to packaging, but GOJON wanted to clarify with people what people see specifically in this area, in terms of goals, why do people think that these are their goals?

Everyone knows that when people receive these plastic flip tops, can people recycle them if there is no logo on the plastic? Do people throw it in the trash can? Did people finally cut off? Yes, now people need band-aids because you’re bleeding.

Therefore, GOJON put these products in corrugated boxes, use corrugated inserts, and then actually use the scraps of the material of the product as packaging material to keep it in the package. So what GOJON have done is clearly reduce the packet size. This e-commerce box no longer needs to be packed in another box and shipped, so it has become bigger. The weight is reduced, but when consumers receive it, they take out the goods and only corrugated cardboard remains. So this is one material, widely used material.

GOJON is just looking forward to a brand like — people's sustainability goals, people's environmental statement and people's mission statement around the brand will all revolve around building this infrastructure.

People can reduce plastic all day, but in the end it will still be.
