The 265 Point Christian Authors Network (CAN) announces today that Pastor John Stange of DesireJesus.com agreed to serve as one of three final judges for its upcoming global “Speak Up” competition.

A sought-after writer, speaker, and teacher on matters related to faith and culture, Stange is the Lead Pastor at Core Creek Community Church in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. In addition to his pastoral work, he hosts three faith-based podcasts, “The Chapter-A-Day Audio Bible,” “Daily Devotions with Pastor John,” and “Dwell on These Things.”  He also hosts a show called “Platform Launchers” which teaches listeners how to develop message-based online platforms.  Collectively, John’s shows have been downloaded by listeners around the world over 9 million times, and his most recent book, “Dwell On These Things” was published by Penguin Random House.

John is a follower of Jesus, husband to Andrea, and father to four great kids. As a certified speaker, trainer, and coach with the John Maxwell Team, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table as a judge for the “Speak Up” competition. John is passionate about helping people find their voice and share their stories. 

Stange joins forces with two other notable judges for the CAN “Speak Up” Competition: Two-time TEDx Speaker and Bestselling Author, Emem Washington and Kate Nash, Bestselling Author and Course Creation Expert.  Together, the Speak Up judging panel will evaluate the seven finalists based on five criteria: organization, effectiveness, value, delivery, and actionability. Each contestant will speak for 8-10 minutes about an inspiring experience or event that has shaped their life as a Christian.

The grand prize winner will be notified live on October 1st and receive a luxurious stay in a beautiful location while recording their professional speaker reel.
