Integrated Mountain Group, a Colorado real estate, property management, and property maintenance company, is sponsoring several youth sports leagues. The company will support Glenwood Springs Youth Hockey Association, Roaring Fork High School baseball, Colorado River Valley Little League, and Glenwood Springs High School Dirt Demons.
These sponsorships are integral to the company’s community mission. We sat down with Bob Johnson, Misty Briscoe-Garcia, and Mike Henry, Integrated Mountain Group representatives, and discussed the community initiatives surrounding their youth sports sponsorships. When asked why the youth league sponsorship was so important to the company mission, Johnson responded, “I coached little league baseball and football in Basalt and Glenwood when my son was playing and continued as a line crew volunteer for youth football last year. I love being part of the tradition in any way possible.”
Misty Briscoe-Garcia, the managing broker of Integrated Mountain Properties (IMG’s real estate division) has been a member of the Colorado River Valley Little League Board for a number of years. Mike and Suzanne (Henry) were closely involved with Glenwood youth hockey with their son. These sponsorships give them an opportunity to continue that involvement.
Henry also answered why Integrated Mountain values their community work with youth leagues, pointing out that, “the youth sports leagues are the perfect opportunity for young ones to hone communication skills and ignite their love for the outdoors, all while being competitive. From dirt biking and skiing to baseball and hockey, we understand how sports and recreation create a healthy environment for young people. At Integrated Mountain Group, we want to foster that kind of environment.”
The company has also been an avid supporter of various local organizations that range from affordable housing to food charities. They believe it’s crucial for local businesses and organizations to band together and provide recreational opportunities for their communities.
