The Pace gaming center will be built on the grounds of the Pace University campus in NYC’s Financial District. As of January 2022, the varsity Esports program was launched, featuring competitive tournaments across several popular game titles, including the acclaimed League of Legends™, Valorant™, and Super Smash Brothers™. Pace University’s official website states that’s both Rocket League and Apex Legends teams are in the pipework for the spring of 2022.
Varsity Esports has officially become the 15th official sport in the Pace Athletics section. Pace’s president, Marvin Krislov, had a few words to say about the vision behind Pace Esports:

Our new varsity Esports program responds to rapidly growing demand and will give our student-athletes the chance to build the skills all sports demand: teamwork, strategy, leadership, discipline, and so much more,” said Marvin Krislov.
By providing a dedicated gaming center to Pace University, Dov Horowitz and ATS support the team to elevate their competitive gaming capabilities. As the founding sponsor of this aspiring Esports squad, American Technology Services have expedited the team’s preparation and enabled Pace University to become a host for future tournaments.
