2-Day Event Highlighted Fun Ideas to Celebrate Back to Work and Have Fun in Exciting Retro Outfits

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA, October 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rancho Santa Margarita, CA-based FunWirks, organized a virtual 80's-themed "Celebrate Back to Work" party, to mark a fun and easy-going transitioning back to businesses, offices and other places of work. In addition to 80s rockstar outfits, participants wore costumes to celebrate famous couples and characters too.

The 2-day celebration, held at the company's Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, warehouse location, and open to company staff and business partners, was, however, live cast via Zoom for broader participation. Underlining the need for the event, representative of the company, Dave James, said:

"The past few months have been stressful for us all. Collectively, as a company, we decided to give back to the community by hosting this light-hearted 80s themed outfits event. The idea is to make initially returning back to work fun and exciting…something that staff, guests, and visitors can look forward to."

The event highlighted how staff creatively used the large inventory of the company's costumes and outfits, to put together fun clothing combos that are practical, but light-hearted too. For instance, one couple working in the Loading and Stocking section were seen wearing 80s couple costumes that mimicked a prison couple. A husband-and-wife team working in Accounting wore an Adams Family costume.

Commenting on the broad array of choices available at the company's online catalogue, as well as instore, Warehouse manager remarked:

"This just goes to show the diversity of stock we have available. If you are planning to host a 'Celebrate Back to Work' event, you'll find outfits that are not just funny and witty, but they're also practical to wear for the role your staff are performing."

Throughout the day, on both days, remote participants to the event voted on their favorite 80s themed outfits. The votes weren't just confined to outfits worn by participants at the warehouse, but to others from the company catalogue as well. The 80s rockstar costume was the hands-down winner, with the Peanut Butter & Jelly couple a close runner-up.
