Over a million people in southeast Texas are considered to be food insecure. Since 1982, Houston Food Bank has worked to alleviate the issue by providing food and other essentials to those who lack consistent access to nutritious food across 18 counties. With the help of a network consisting of over 1,500 community partners, Houston Food Bank donates over 100 million meals each year to Texas families.
The Amaro Law Firm is honored to support the mission of the Houston Food Bank and everything they do for our local communities. For the last four years, the company have participated in the food from the Bar competition, a yearly month-long fundraising event organized by the Houston Bar Association (HBA). During the month of April, Houston’s legal community comes together to support Houston Food Bank with the battle against hunger.
