As Austin enters highest level of Covid risk, minority chambers urge businesses to bring masks back

Public health officials moved Austin/Travis County into Stage 5 of the area's Covid-19 guidelines — the highest level of risk — on Aug. 5. The day prior, the Diversity and Ethnic Chamber Alliance released a statement asking businesses to do their part as the area sees a rise in new Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations while the delta variant spreads.
