CINCINNATI - July 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Today, Hamilton County Commission Vice President, Alicia Reece, and Chair of the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame, announces the kick-off event and induction ceremony of the new Black Music Walk of Fame. The event will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the new Andrew Brady Icon Music Venue on the Banks (25 Race Street in Cincinnati, Ohio 45202). The inaugural founding inductees will be Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Bootsy Collins, King Records icon Otis Williams, GRAMMY Award Winners, The Isley Brothers, and the late Gospel great, Dr. Charles Fold.

"I am happy that this idea, which came from the community, will now become a reality," states Hamilton County Commission Vice President, Alicia Reece. "The Black Music Walk of Fame will not only celebrate the rich history that African Americans have contributed to music, but it will also attract visitors and tourists from all over the world to come and visit Hamilton County."

The Black Music Walk of Fame will be located on Lot 28 across from the Paul Brown Stadium, which hosts the Cincinnati Music Festival and the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals. The Black Music Walk of Fame will be a connector to the Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center, creating the first-ever music corridor on the Banks in Cincinnati, Ohio. The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2022.
