Sacramento-based support group offers free services to individuals struggling with grief.

This free, nonprofit organization looks to help any and all who are seeking help. Resources, referral services, even weekly phone and peer group support groups.

‘Moments of Grief’ is one such ongoing support group provided free of charge by Neimah Care. This peer group setting offers healing, inspiration, motivation, and a platform to lead a full life. Everyone has experienced some form of grief and should not be embarrassed to seek support. Neimah Care looks to be there to help take the first step of recovery, together.

Organization founder, and CEO, Sophia McDonald, has faced many challenges in her life that led her to develop this organization. "We look to reach out to all those who are struggling with grief. Life’s challenges can become stepping stones and not tombstones.”

Neimah Care hopes to get those they help back to living their life by providing awareness and support networks. Neimah Care has a strong belief in the benefits of a peer group setting coupled with offering healing, inspiration, and motivation and looks to help by becoming a platform to leading a full life.
