This is a huge milestone for the Houston-based company, which has provided flexible, professional office and coworking space to entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives since 2015.
WorkLodge office and coworking space got it’s start in 2015 when founder, Mike Thakur, saw an opportunity to build something better for small business owners and entrepreneurs who couldn’t work from home and needed professional, big business amenities at affordable rates.
One of the biggest challenges WorkLodge office and coworking faced was, Covid-19. Like many businesses, they didn’t see it coming. “Thankfully, we weathered the storm by being wise with our profit and staying away from debt.” says Thakur.

Mike Thakur, founder at WorkLodge says of another big win. “One of the high points of WorkLodge’s history so far has been changing lives. Through our nonprofit, the Gabriel Project, we’ve been able to provide food, water, and housing to thousands of people, both locally and beyond. We’re delighted to be celebrating our 6 Year Anniversary. I believe the secret to getting this far in business today is doing the work, doing it well, and always doing what’s right.”.
