Digital Health Enthusiasts and FemTech Investors are welcome to discover what the next wave of innovation can offer to address the unmet needs within Women’s Health

On Thursday, June 3rd, HITLAB will welcome 30 innovative FemTech founders to present their novel solutions in front of a global audience. The Women’s Health Tech Innovator Showcase will have of some of the most promising FemTech solutions from all around the world on display. In a rapid-fire format, selected innovators will have two minutes to present their novel digital health solution.
Women’s Health Tech Challenge Director, Susan Solinsky added that “We all look forward to honoring these innovative startups addressing unmet needs in Women’s Health. 2021 has been a transformative year in recognizing female founders and leaders in FemTech.”
Presenters were nominated by HITLAB Women’s Health Tech judges and investor network including Maria Velissaris, Founding Partner of SteelSky Ventures, Casey Santiago, Managing Director of Founders Factory New York, Ella Seitz (Berlyand), Principal at Esplanade Ventures, Nathan Sundheimer, Program & Operations Manager, Health at Plug and Play, Michele Colucci, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Digital Dx Ventures, Pam Walton, Vice President at Sandbox Industries, The Blue Venture Fund, Ryan Alam, Vice President, Citi Impact Fund, and many more.
Over the past five years, the HITLAB Women’s Health Tech Initiative has grown beyond simply a bi-annual challenge day. It has evolved into a community of entrepreneurs working together to address the unmet needs in women’s health all around the globe. What began as a search for emerging digital health solutions, developed into a unique opportunity to connect founders, investors, legal counsel, providers, payers and researchers.
The goal of the Women’s Health Tech Challenge is to invite innovators, entrepreneurs, and startups, as either individuals or teams, to propose novel concepts to fulfill or mitigate the unmet needs of women all over the world.
HITLAB is excited to announce that in addition to the annual challenge day, the 2021 Women’s Health Tech Initiative include weekly Women’s Health Tech Wednesday episodes, Quarterly WHT Networking Opportunities, and the Rapid-Pitch Innovator Showcase. With the support of partners such as Goodwin Proctor Law, HITLAB is committed to empowering FemTech Founders and providing a stage for the underrepresented founders to diffuse their innovative solutions.
In addition to the innovator showcase, tune in to hear from leading FemTech organizations and investors who will share their experiences and lessons learned in panel discussions.
