DALLAS, TEXAS (May 2021): Precision Vascular, a leader in the minimally invasive treatment of vein disease, is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Osama Abdul-Rahim to the North Texas practice.

About Dr. Osama Abdul-Rahim
Board-certified in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology, Dr. Osama Abdul-Rahim will see patients at Precision Vascular’s McKinney, Sherman/Denison, and North Dallas locations. Specializing in minimally invasive treatments for vascular disease of the legs, Dr. Abdul-Rahim expertise includes both arteries and veins, allowing for a “big picture” approach to patient care.
Dr. Abdul-Rahim graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine with his MD in 2010. After his internship, he continued his training with a diagnostic radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. A fellowship in interventional radiology at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital followed. Prior to joining Precision Vascular, Dr. Abdul-Rahim spent 5 years at University of South Alabama Health System as both an Assistant professor and Section Chief of Interventional Radiology, where he was honored with an award for Best Radiology Teacher 2017-2018.
Dr. Abdul-Rahim feels that everyone deserves to be able to do what they love. Thus, in developing individualized treatment plans, he gives every patient his best shot and complete focus. His philosophy is “Do the right thing, do the best you can, don’t lose sight of what’s important, and never stop caring”. As the first independent outpatient interventional radiology group in the D/FW Metroplex, Dr. Abdul-Rahim and Precision Vascular believe that a patient’s care doesn’t begin when the doctor and patient meet. Rather, it involves the entire team including all office staff, nurses, and physicians.
Having performed over 7500 interventional radiology procedures, Dr. Abdul-Rahim treats every patient question and concern with respect. He values the trust that patients put in his expertise and skills. Plus, he appreciates that patients choose him and the team at Precision Vascular. It is his honor and pleasure to partner with patients in treating vascular disease.
Dr. Abdul-Rahim is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology. He also has membership in the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). He has published numerous articles and is a sought-after speaker at conferences and meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Abdul-Rahim enjoys outdoor time with his family. They swim, bike, hike and play sports together. He also enjoys exploring new restaurants in D/FW with his wife. He is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to helping them on their journey to a better life.
