Verizon sells majority stake of Yahoo, AOL to Apollo Global Management

Verizon is selling a majority stake in Verizon Media — the subsidiary that includes Yahoo and AOL — to Apollo Global Management, Inc. for $5 billion, the companies announced Monday.
