"This finding doesn't mean that the vaccine doesn't work ... There's a lot more to our immune systems than antibodies," said Dr. Ghady Haidar, a transplant infectious diseases physician at UPMC. "It's a complex system with hundreds, if not thousands, of elements to help us fight off infection."
