Briggs and leading bidder say delay in sale to KPS would cause liquidity crisis

The private equity firm that proposes buying Briggs & Stratton Corp. through a bankruptcy court auction and said if the auction is delayed – as proposed by creditors including Generac Power Systems — the Wauwatosa-based company would suffer a liquidity crisis.
