L. Dot is Back to Enthral Fans, Announces New Releases and Performance Dates

The new announcements come close after the release of his album “Back to Black” and his single, “Talking To My Daughter.”

August 12, 2020

L. Dot, an American hip-hop recording artist, has notified his new performance dates. The new announcements come close after the release of his album “Back to Black” and his single, “Talking To My Daughter.”

L. Dot is a down-to-earth performer who does not brag about his achievements, which however speak for themselves. After his song, “The Cure” hit the stands, L. Dot was approached by Sony, the largest digital entertainment firm in the world, for a partnership. Discussions with the firm led to the signing of an imprint deal with Sony, which gave L. Dot complete control of his album B.A.R.L.I.F.E. He has completed a collaborative record with Menace and his next album is expected in fall, 2020.

L. Dot was born and raised in Washington D.C. Exposed to music at an early age, he started writing music at the age of eight. Known in his younger days as Young Phenom, L. Dot was popular for battle rap and freestyling, which went on to become his signature style.

In June 2002, he joined the US army and served at Fort Hood, Texas. It was during his stint with the army that he met a group called Full Deck Records, which provided him with inspiration to take his music forward. Even when the responsibilities of a married life and his posting with the military often distracted him, he would write songs and pursue his passion. During his tours to Iraq and whenever he found time, he practised his freestyle skills.

The period between 2006 and 2014 was, however, a tumultuous time for L. Dot, when he had to contend with a divorce in 2011, near death situations, probation time, and the death of his second daughter. At the brink of collapse, he was persuaded and encouraged by his friends and family to find solace in music. He successfully embraced music, and is now on his way to becoming an icon.
