Devonna Begay, a first-generation college student from the Navajo Nation in Arizona, was all set to join the U.S. Army next year after graduation. But then the coronavirus pandemic hit and George Floyd's death made her reconsider her career path. Now, she wants to become the chief of police of her reservation.
