Dragoneer private equity firm files to raise up to $690M in Bay Area 'blank check' IPO

Fifty of this year's 85 U.S. IPOs have been by "blank check" companies, more than any other type, according to Renaissance Capital. Three of those have been by Palo Alto companies.
