Army Futures Command has grown to include 400 people in Austin, with its budget growing to just under $38 billion in the 2019 fiscal year, General John "Mike" Murray said during a Jan. 9 panel with Capital Factory founder and CEO Josh Baer at the University of Texas at Austin. Moving forward, Murray added, the Army has budgeted $10 billion over a five-year period to invest in companies helping solve some of the Army's biggest needs.
