Elon Musk recently said Tesla's solar business can grow faster than its car business and there will be more focus on Tesla Energy, which includes battery storage. Recent efficiency gains in Model 3 production allow Tesla to shift focus, but the company has faced criticism, and a shareholder lawsuit, over the solar business.
