InFlight Labs Develops FIRST "GADSS" Aircraft-wide Remote Control for ELT, SATCOM, and ADS-B Distress Tracking Systems

By: PRLog

Inflight Labs Aerospace Systems announced today Industry's FIRST "GADSS Remote Activation System" for ELT, SATCOM, and ADS-B Distress Tracking Systems for Pilots, Flight Attendants and Air Marshals.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Dec. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- "Pilots, Flight Attendants and Air Marshals can now remotely activate our GADSS Distress Aircraft Notification and Tracking System Interface which continuously monitors avionics data for aircraft anomalies/problems at any time during a flight when an emergency arises. The GADSS Remote Activation System and Tracking System Interface triggers/activates an onboard ELT, ELT-DT, SATCOM System or ADS-B surveillance system (depending on which one is installed) for real-time distress aircraft tracking and reporting to authorities during all phases of flight"; states company spokesman Joseph Bekanich.

"The wearable \ concealable GADSS Remote Activation System offers the new level of aircraft-wide safety and real-time accessibility to Pilots, Flight Attendants, and Air Marshals. This system further expands InFlight Labs Industry-leading Distress Aircraft Tracking product line which Aviation's World-Leading Organizations use as a "checklist" for GADSS Guidelines (Global Aeronautical Distress and Safety System) since 2014.

Robust Patent Position

The "GADSS Remote Activation System" interfaces with the following InFlight Labs' GADSS-specific (Global Aeronautical Distress and Safety System) patents:

Distress Aircraft Notification and Tracking System: (Patent 10,002,519; benefits from application US13/022,889 filed in 2011)

SATCOM Distress Aircraft Tracking System: (Patent 10,163,328; benefits from application US13/022,889 filed in 2011)

Survival Emergency Location Transmitter Tracking System: (Patent 10,102,756; benefits from application US13/022,889 filed in 2011)

Checking all the (GADSS) boxes

InFlight Labs Smart GADSS solutions meet all ICAO requirements:

 - Activated by aircraft anomaly or a technical problem (TAWS, GPWS, Unusual Attitude       Sensor, etc.)

-  In-flight detection and triggering of an ELT, ELT-DT, SATCOM or ADS-B system for          distressed aircraft tracking

 - Transmits distressed aircraft location in designated time intervals of 1 minute or less

 - 24-hour autonomous aircraft location transmission during all phase of flight

 - Remote activation/reset of ADT System during all phases of flight

Today, InFlight Labs closely monitors ICAO GADSS's mandate progress through the ICAO GADSS Advisory Group which includes such members as; Boeing, Airbus, NASA, Iridium, Inmarsat and many other airlines industry leaders
