Bill protecting contractor credit during a shutdown passes House

The Shutdown Guidance for Financial Institutions Act passed the chamber by a voice vote Friday. It calls on financial institutions to modify terms for existing loans or extend new lines of credit for federal employees and contractors impacted by a government shutdown.
