Austin City Council to weigh petitions opposed to MLS, Convention Center development pushes

Austin voters defeated a petition last year that aimed to require voter approval of land development code rewrites. Now two proposed ordinances aiming to require the same thing on other development-related matters could be headed for the ballot this November.
