Industrial giant with Triad division to buy Lord Corp. for $3.7 billion

Ohio industrial giant Parker-Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH), which operates its Aerospace Filtration Division in Greensboro, is acquiring Cary-based Lord Corporation in a $3.7 billion deal.
