Biotech building boom continues as BioMed starts second phase of big South San Francisco complex

Two years after starting the Gateway of Pacific project in South San Francisco and landing AbbVie as a major tenant, BioMed Realty said it is starting on the second phase of the potential 1.4 million-square-foot development.
