Document: Undisclosed appraisal put higher value on controversial park land

That appraisal is nearly $1 million more than an appraisal that was released by the office of Mayor David Briley earlier this month, which pegged the value at $4.62 million. The appraisal released by the mayor's office was itself about $1 million more than a previous evaluation, which did not account for Giarratana's plans to develop a high-rise on the site.
