Residents, politicians and business owners in North Mecklenburg and Southern Iredell counties have spent the past several years seeking changes to the existing contract or a buyout by the state, hoping to reduce the number of toll lanes or do away with them altogether. On Wednesday night in Huntersville, area business leaders will be briefed on the subject.
