Professor Chris Imafidon leads a delegation to the COMMONWEALTH HEADS OF GOVERNMENT SUMMIT WITH THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY in London in April 2018. Students and alumni of the ExcellenceinEducation programme will be led to meet world leaders at the start of a historic summit in England.
WESTMINSTER, England - April 15, 2018 - PRLog -- PROFESSOR CHRIS IMAFIDON LEADS GIFTED YOUTHS TO THE COMMONWEALTH HEADS OF GOVERNMENT SUMMIT WITH THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY, London 16-20 April 2018
Professor Chris Imafidon said, "I am delighted to lead such a delegation to the Evensong at Westminster for the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit (CHOGM2018), which will be Opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Head of the Commonwealth."
During this week-long summit, the Queen and the Royal Family will roll out the red carpet for leaders and delegates from 53 Commonwealth countries, with each member of the Royal Family playing a key role on the CHOGM Calendar. The Queen will host the Official Opening of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting at Buckingham Palace. Prince Charles will give words of welcome to guests including Heads of Government; High Commissioners; Foreign Ministers; and Faith Leaders. Prince Andrew will host the PITCH@PALACE Commonwealth, showcasing Entrepreneurs from Commonwealth countries. Prince William will officiate at the "Welcome to the UK" Reception and at the joint Session of the Commonwealth Business and Youth Forums. Prince Harry will officiate at the Youth Cabinet Roundtable and Opening Session of the Commonwealth Youth Forum. Prince Harry will also host a Youth Forum Reception. And Professor Chris Imafidon will be contributing a special fringe event of women empowerment to celebrate "AFRICAN SUFFRAGETTES" in the wings of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit (2018 CHOGM).
