Apple buoys Silicon Valley stocks, Lumentum soars as Wall Street volatility continues

The Bloomberg Silicon Valley Technology index closed up 2.94 percent on Tuesday — regaining much of its decline from Monday's global stocks selloff — amid another wild day on Wall Street.
