ETF Managers Group Celebrates Ringing the Bell at Both the NYSE and the NASDAQ

ETF Managers Group (ETFMG) is celebrating another first today, ringing the opening and then the closing bell with two of its partner firms at the NYSE and the NASDAQ, respectively.

At the NYSE ETF Managers Group joins Steven Schoenfeld, Chief Investment Officer of BlueStar Indexes and his colleagues as they ring the Opening Bell to celebrate BlueStar TA-BIGITech Israel Technology ETF (ITEQ) being listed on the NYSE Arca. BlueStar partnered with ETFMG to bring ITEQ to market in November of 2015, providing investors with direct access to the fast-growing Israeli technology sector. “We’re thrilled for our partners at BlueStar to have the chance to ring today’s NYSE Opening Bell,” said Sam Masucci, CEO and Founder of ETF Managers Group. “ITEQ has seen steady growth since its inception in 2015, we are hopeful for ongoing success as Israel continues to impact the global tech space.”

Later today, in Times Square, ETFMG will join Brad Lamesndorf, founder and portfolio manager of Active Alts with his colleagues as they ring the Closing Bell at the NASDAQ to celebrate the launch earlier this year of the Active Alts Contrarian ETF (SQZZ). Sam Masucci says he is “excited to be providing wholesale services to SQZZ allowing the investor community access to capitalize on 'short squeeze' opportunities.

“We congratulate the teams at BlueStar and Active Alts on today’s Bell Ringings. Strong partnerships with industry experts is the foundation of these successful products,” continued Masucci. “We at ETFMG remain focused on the continued growth and success of all of our partners and we look forward to bringing more unique ETFs to market expanding our ETFMG Family of funds in the coming months.”

Carefully consider the Fund’s investment objectives, risk factors, charges, and expenses before investing. This and additional information can be found in the Funds’ prospectuses, which may be obtained by calling 1-844-ETF-MGRS (1-844-383-6477), or by visiting the funds’ website. Read the prospectuses carefully before investing.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Shares of any ETF are bought and sold at market price (not NAV), may trade at a discount or premium to NAV and are not individually redeemed from the Fund. Brokerage commissions will reduce returns. Narrowly focused investments typically exhibit higher volatility.

SQZZ seeks to invest in stocks in which a significant amount of market participants have taken short positions, when the market participants believe the value of these stocks will decline in the future. If these market participants are correct, the value of stocks in which the Fund invests will decrease, and the Fund will lose money on its investments. The Fund’s portfolio is actively managed, and will likely have a higher portfolio turnover rate than non-actively managed portfolios.

SQZZ is distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC, which is not affiliated with ETFMG or BlueStar.

Investment in securities of Israeli companies involves risks that may negatively affect the value of your investment in the Fund. Among other things, Israel’s economy depends on imports of certain key items, such as crude oil, coal, grains, raw materials and military equipment. Foreign investing involves special risks such as currency fluctuations and political uncertainty. Funds that invest in smaller companies may experience greater volatility. Funds that emphasize investments in technology generally will experience greater price volatility.

ITEQ is distributed by ETFMG Financial LLC. ETF Managers Group LLC and ETFMG Financial LLC are wholly owned subsidiaries of Exchange Traded Managers Group LLC (collectively, "ETFMG"). ETFMG Financial LLC is not affiliated with BlueStar Indexes. Sam Masucci is a registered representative of ETFMG Financial LLC.
