Homebuilder D.R. Horton Inc. (NYSE: DHI) has completed its acquisition of roughly 75 percent of Austin-based Forestar Group Inc. (NYSE: FOR) on Thursday, making the land development firm a wholly owned subsidiary of the nation's largest homebuilder.
