Shares of oilfield services firms Ensco (NYSE: ESV) added 31 cents to close at $5.47, Noble Corp. (NYSE: NE) edged up 29 cents to close at $3.91, Rowan Cos. (NYSE: RDC) rose 81 cents to close at $11.05 and Teekay Corp. (NYSE: TK) climbed $1.13 to close at $7.80 after Baker Hughes (NYSE: BHI) completed its merger with GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE). Baker Hughes stock surged $3.17 to close at $57.68 while GE stock gained 44 cents to close at $27.45.
