Growing soon in Austin: Medical marijuana, bound for those with rare form of epilepsy

Austin has its first legal marijuana-growing enterprise. Before long, low-THC medical weed will be grown about 15 minutes north of downtown. Three companies have been given approval by Texas authorities to produce marijuana-derived cannabidiol (CBD) oil that can only be used by patients with a certain type of epilepsy.
