Following his discharge in 1988, Dr. Dryer joined Dr. William P. Taylor at The Austin Back Clinic, which later expanded to become the Central Texas Spine Institute. He has also participated in numerous FDA-approved clinical trials and limits his practice to the cervical and lumbar spine surgery.
