Title III opens the door to non-accredited investors. Previously only accredited investors, who have an individual income of $200,000 or $1,000,000 in net assets, excluding their house, could buy securities. Now, Title III has enabled people to invest in crowdfunding securities who have an annual income or net worth of less than $100,000.
