The new voice-enabled travel search feature was announced earlier this week and is available for users of Amazon (AMZN) devices that are enabled by Alexa, the cloud-based voice technology that powers Amazon Echo, Amazon Tap and Echo Dot. AMZN shares are currently priced at 133.56x this year’s forecasted earnings, which makes them relatively expensive compared to the industry’s 4.71x earnings multiple. According to a consensus of 33 analysts, the earnings estimate of $1.10 per share would be $0.91 better than the year-ago quarter and a $0.14 sequential increase. In looking at the bigger picture, the full-year EPS estimate of $5.34 would be a $4.09 improvement when compared to the previous year’s annual results.
