Corning Inc. (NYSE: GLW) will acquire Alliance Fiber Optics Products Inc. (Nasdaq: AFOP) in an all cash deal valued at approximately $305 million. Shares of Corning eased 7 cents to $20.59 while Alliance Fiber Optics stock leaped $3.00 to $18.46.
