Natural Fragrance: Does It Have to Smell Like Dirt?

By: PRLog
Luxury Eco Beauty Brand Launches First Line of Parfum Pur on March 16
BERKELEY, Calif. - March 15, 2016 - PRLog -- We've all foraged in the green beauty aisle and uncovered scents that leave something to be desired. And department store perfumes are notorious for leaving the olfactory palate overwhelmed. Enter Call of the Vialed, specializing in "aromatherapeutic perfume, sans the smell of dirt or dirty ingredients." The brand announced the premiere of its four-piece line of fine fragrance today.

Purchases of the Parfum Pur can be made exclusively online at etsy.com/shop/CalloftheVialed starting March 16. The product lineup includes four scents: Vialed Flower, Vialed Momentum, Vialed Hush, and Vialed Dream. "This highly edited lineup covers a large range of what people want to smell like," says Owner and Perfumer Lauren Blevins in a statement. Each will be available in two sizes: the low profile .23 Fl. Oz. with wand applicator is $65, and the tall .33 Fl. Oz. with roll-on applicator is $80.

Blevins has been a perfumer since 2012, and says each fragrance is inspired by the natural power of plants. "What makes the market challenging are the prevailing 'shoulds' of perfume, which include traditions that grandfathered the use of harsh solvents, animal testing, and carcinogens. Call of the Vialed is proud to be completely vegan, and free of fillers, gluten, phthalates, and parabens." Ingredients include eco beauty standbys like essential oils and resins.

Call of the Vialed was founded this month, and will be launching seasonal ancillaries in the future. Explore the brand at callofthevialed.com.
