CREVE COEUR, Mo. - Oct. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Stephen Weiss, President and Owner of the company, announces this big change in the way customers will experience CCC’s semi-annual EXPO. For years consumers have seen items on the shelves and on the counters and been able to check out the newest equipment. However, this year will be different.
Creve Coeur Camera will have several 50-minute shooting experiences; requiring pre-registration for these sessions. The major camera and lens manufacturers (Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus and Sigma) will have tables in the studios with multiple sets of cameras, lenses, flashes and more, for you to ACTUALLY SHOOT AND EXPERIENCE before you buy.
CCC plans on having 4 live models and 4 table top & still life examples, as well as different lighting environments for people to experience and to get ‘hands-on’ with the equipment.
“This is totally different,” Weiss says. "Consumers are used to looking through the camera at the sales person in front of them. In the past, they’ve bought the camera or lens and then waited till they got home to see if they liked it. It's not how they will actually use the camera or flash or whatever. We are trying to put them in a more natural place, experiencing the equipment in real life situations. It’s a whole new approach."
These ‘hands-on events’ begin at noon on Friday and end Saturday evening. Sign up for these events at www.cccamera.com. There is a $10 per session fee, however customers will receive a $10 store coupon after the event, making these sessions essentially FREE.
Scheduled to appear at the EXPO are over 20 different vendors showing their newest equipment, and CCC will host a FREE BBQ on Saturday in the parking lot of the new Superstore location. Food will be provided by the company and Double G Hams.
This year’s fall EXPO will happen on Friday and Saturday, November 20th and 21st. The EXPO will be at the NEW Super store at 12747 Olive Blvd., while the SALE is all week long at all 9 CCC locations.
