An anemic jobs report weighed the markets down during the midday with the Dow slipping 8 points to 13,283. Lululemon Athletica (Nasdaq: LULU) reported higher second quarter earnings and lifted its full year guidance.Bargain hunters lifted shares of Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE: ANR) whose stock price fell after an analyst downgrade on Wednesday.On the downsideShares of Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD) fell after Intel (NYSE: INTC) cut its third quarter guidance. Calpine (NYSE: CPN) priced a 20 million share block trade at the discounted price of $18.00 per share.Envivio (Nasdaq: ENVI) fell to a greater than expected loss for the second quarter.In the broad market, advancing issues outpaced decliners by a margin of more than 2 to 1 on the NYSE and by 7 to 5 on Nasdaq. The Russell 2000 which tracks small cap stocks rose 4 points to 842.
