The markets closed sharply lower with the Dow plunging 101 points to 13,457 as demonstrators protested in front of Spain’s Parliament. Reynolds (NYSE: RAI).Swisher Hygiene (Nasdaq: SWSH) warned that it will not be able to file financial reports by an extended deadline of September 26, 2012 and may be delisted by Nasdaq.Avondale downgraded Headwaters (NYSE: HW) to a Market Perform rating.In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of more than 5 to 42 on both the NYSE and on Nasdaq.
