Uncertainty over Greece weighs down markets

Uncertainty over Greek debt weighed the markets down to a lower close with Dow tumbling 85 points to 18,105. Nasdaq slipped 9 points to 4,993.

On the upside

PlasmaTech Biopharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: PTBI) closed a $10 million private placement.

Nevro (NYSE: NVRO) widened losses for the first quarter but revenue soared and the Food and Drug Administration approved the company’s Senza spinal cord stimulation system.

Shares of InterCloud Systems (Nasdaq: ICLD) continued climbing.

On the downside

Shares of ForceField Energy (Nasdaq: FNRG) resumed trading today, three weeks after chairman Richard St. Julien was arrested for securities fraud.

RadNet (Nasdaq: RDNT) reported a wider than expected loss for the first quarter.

Oncothyreon (Nasdaq: ONTY) reported a loss for the first quarter.
 
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of more than 5 to 3 on the NYSE while advancers edged out decliners nearly 10 to 9 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 lost 10 points to 2105. Bitcoin added $1 to $241.
