Bio: Louisiana native Claude Woods Jr. worked on his first recordings with Scotti Bros Records singing group NAIS. Next he teamed up with Mixer/Producer Conley Abrams on the Ithaka project, ‘Somewhere South of Somalia’, which was named one of the 10 most influential hip hop projects of that year. Conley produced and mixed, Claude did background vocals and was featured on the Reggae tinged track “River Road”. At that point Claude became Conley’s go to person for all the projects he was producing at the time, including Shedrack Anderson, Cynthia Farmer, and General Grant remix “No Woman” that peaked at #6 on the Rap charts. They then collaborated with Righteous Murray, Silk producer, to record, produce and mix Communicate, Claude’s first solo album on SLM Records, also licensed to Black Pool a German label. While touring Claude got the call from Al McKay to join the Allstars, the Earth, Wind and Fire Experience a worldwide touring band featuring players from EW&F. He continued collaborating on projects with Conley, in between tour dates on artists including, Samantha Jade (Australian X Factor winner), and American Idol Finalist Melinda Lira.

They next started working on Claude’s second album ‘ Let The Day Go By’ released independently which Conley coproduced, recorded and mixed. This work and the collaboration Claude had with Bulgarian group Sound Solution got the attention of UK label head Jimmie Gray of London’s Square Biz Records. Claude began releasing singles on this label to critical acclaim including, “When We Party”, “Pimper’s Paradise” a Marley cover, “the Right Track” Northern Soul gem, and currently is releasing on Sept 4th 2015, “Miss Pennywell”. The London releases’ were produced, recorded, mixed by Conley with Claude contributing on production and arranging except “Miss Pennywell” which Claude wrote and produced himself, with Conley doing the mixing.
