Trout Payment Systems Becomes One of First Houston Firms to Offer BitCoin Acceptance Platform Services
PRLog - Oct. 2, 2014 - HOUSTON -- “Trout Payment Systems,” a Houston based merchant services firm that helps businesses accept credit cards, announced a newly formed partnership with GoCoin, an international payments platform focused on enabling businesses to accept digital currencies such as BitCoin.
Trout is GoCoin’s first Houston area affiliate, and is among the first in the city to offer businesses a digital currency payment gateway solution. This offering will complement Trout’s primary product lines and augment the firm’s ability to assist businesses with their payment needs.
Commenting on this groundbreaking relationship, Napoleon T. Last week GoCoin was announced as one of several providers chosen by PayPal to facilitate their digital currency acceptance. GoCoin has a “Who’s Who” list of investors including the former COO of Facebook, the CMO of Sega, and some of Silicon Valley’s top venture capital firms.
Digital currencies, like BitCoin, help businesses accept payments for substantially lower transaction costs and eliminate chargeback risk. Businesses can set themselves up to take digital currencies directly, but GoCoin can use their technical resources to greatly simplify the process and at the same time make it much easier for businesses to get paid in their native currency.
