Math K-Plus works to foster children’s arithmetic problem solving skills. Lesson resources address the needs of children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Topics covered in detail: counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, math properties, and arithmetic equations. All resources operate at the pace of individual student. Resources fall into the following categories:
Documentation: Helps students to understand the basics of arithmetic.
Problem Solvers: Offers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problem solvers. These tools allow student to enter a math problem and receive a detail explanation of the solution. Students learn by examples.
Math Practice: Students solve math problems and then compare their results with the website. This process helps students learn in a consistent and logical manner. Through practice, subject manner confidence is built.
Equation Solver: After students have mastered the individual skills required for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division the next step is arithmetic equations. This tool provides detailed documentation and procedures how to solve equations. Students can enter any arithmetic equation and get a step-by-step solution for comparison to verify they are solving them correctly.
Math Tests: There are two types with different teaching objectives.
Math Test: Helps prepare students for actual pace of classroom tests by measuring test time and accuracy.
Math Quiz: Measures students’ progress over a period of time; test results are saved. All results for a given test can be reviewed at any time.
